Since 2019, Nick and Amanda Smith have been performing professional live chainsaw carving demonstrations at local fairs, festivals, community events, and city celebrations.

 

What starts as a simple log quickly transforms into a detailed sculpture, often in under an hour, captivating crowds of all ages.

Nick’s lifelong experience with chainsaws and background in arboriculture bring both skill and safety to every performance. His live speed carving demonstrations combine precision, artistry, and showmanship, making them a standout feature at any event.

Amanda adds the finishing touches with paint and detail work, often completing pieces live so audiences can see the full transformation from raw wood to finished art. Together, they create an engaging, family-friendly experience that blends craftsmanship, creativity, and entertainment.

Their work has been featured at local fairs as well as fairs across the nation and public events, including collaboration with local parks and recreation teams throughout our hometown area and public displays at Sycamore Trails Park in Miamisburg, Ohio.
