About Us

Nick and Amanda Smith are a husband-and-wife art team from Ohio who love turning wood into art. Nick has worked with chainsaws his entire life, starting as a young boy in the tree industry and as a certified arborist later in life. One day, he picked up a chainsaw to carve a bear from a log that was laying around and never looked back. What started as a hobby grew into a shared passion, and by 2019 they were carving professionally, performing live at local fairs and events.

Nick creates large-scale carvings that transform stumps and logs into striking sculptures, while Amanda brings color, detail, and her own small-scale pieces, painting and carving creations for their online shop. Together, they approach every project as a family, often including their daughters in carving, painting, and live performances.
